Dining table in Zellige and hammered thermo-lacquered iron. The authenticity of Zellige is unmistakable, from its unique textures to its vibrant colors, each tile is a part of Moroccan history, made with techniques passed down from generation to generation since the 8th century. Our hammered iron collection highlights the different combinations of Zellige so that terraces and gardens tell their own story.
Zellige resists the outdoors and rain moderately, and will age naturally showing some irregularity in its tiles in a harmonious and elegant way. In winter it is recommended to cover or remove from low temperatures. Over time, iron can age, showing some rust. It is recommended for limestone floors to use felts to protect it. As it is a handmade piece, it contains slight imperfections and irregularities typical of its creation process.
Our garden collection is 100% handcrafted and designed with the imperfections inherent in its manufacturing process. This isn't technically outdoor furniture; however, the iron is powder-coated, suitable for exposure to sunlight and moderate rain. Both the Zellige and travertine will age, revealing their natural beauty. In winter, it's recommended to cover them, as rain and sudden temperature changes can damage the furniture.
Furniture containing iron, in addition to being covered in winter, requires annual maintenance of its paint to compensate for the rust that is inherent in the natural life of wrought iron. Cushion and mattress covers are made with technical fabrics for outdoor spaces, but should always be stored indoors, away from moisture, when not in use. If stored outdoors in damp conditions, the fabric will deteriorate rapidly. The fillings are not technical, to enhance their comfort. It is recommended that limestone floors be protected with felt. As these are handcrafted pieces, they may contain slight irregularities and imperfections inherent to the artisanal creation process. The pieces may differ slightly from the images as they are unique, handmade creations.
It's important that Zellige furniture covered with plastic covers outdoors is not left exposed to high temperatures for extended periods of time, as the heat can cause the plastic to melt and affect the quality of the furniture.
