RV74 presents Altin,
an ode to experiment.
The Orbite collection illustrates a series of experiments on the assemblages of metal, reed, earth and wood with each other, their reactions and points of balance.
Through this first collection, Altin evokes a contemplative journey where each object, beyond the stereotypes of our daily lives, draws the contours of an organic minimalism that sweeps away the superfluous and strongly calls for a return to the essential.
Altin evokes a contemplative journey: each object transcends stereotypes, embracing an organic minimalism that rejects the superfluous.
Contours of essential minimalism:
Orbite invites us to reflect and return to what is fundamental in our daily lives.

This sculptural sideboard is handcrafted from woven reed under a metal frame, forming a double façade that allows air to circulate through the different levels. The various elements of the metal checkerboard float as if weightless on the surface of the attack, recalling the pattern of solar panels unfolding around a satellite. The cold, rigid nature of the metal harmonizes with the delicate, warm fragility of ocean waves, while the natural oxidation treatment of the earth-red metal creates patterns of rings and craters on the surface.
With its structure and three feet firmly anchored to the ground, the Arche console is an embodiment of resilience. It is strong, but imperfect. Handcrafted in palm wood. Culminating in the sandy expanses of the Tunisian desert, it has resisted aridity, heat and limited water supplies, but preserves within it the memory of the oasis it once inhabited. Arche represents a ray of hope in a hostile environment.
An example of the synergy between metal and earth, a poetic fusion of two fundamental materials fixed by fire. The screen is handmade with local clay from Sejnane, where potters have captured their ancient techniques. It is impregnated with the distinctive fire marks of the traditional oven cooking technique. The base of the lamp presents details of fusion and aggregation in the metal, as if it had solidified naturally after the action of heat.
Made of hand-carved palm wood, it is made up of rounded shapes that highlight the natural grain of the wood and combine to create a primitive shape that looks like an unreal and endearing character. The piece undergoes a long sanding and varnishing process to set the top layer of its fiber and enhance its unique color, which is different on each tree.
