Brutalist chestnut wood lamp from the 70s with shade in bogolan from Mali in khaki, ocher and black tones.
Measurements: 93cm high; 40cm in diameter.
We like it for:
1 His sculpturality.
2 Your inner dim light.
3 The trunk of chestnut wood.
The Bogolan or “mud cloth”, is a type of traditional Malian fabric worked by hand on cotton cloth with clay and natural dyes. Signs and pictures represent messages tribal handed down from generation to generation.
Its condition is excellent, but we must not forget that over the years and the logical deterioration is the magic of vintage and antiques, buy it if you share this philosophy with your heart.
