Original Pierre Digan & Janet Stedman lamp from the 70s. Double-sided lamp mounted on a geometric ceramic base with a hand-woven shade. Its glazed stoneware structure features sculpted shapes in a brutalist style and natural textures that reflect the influence of French artistic ceramics. The woven natural fiber shade adds warmth and an organic aesthetic.

Pierre Digan (1941-2016) was a great French ceramist noted for his work in glazed stoneware and his influence on La Borne ceramics. Together with Janet Stedman, he founded “Digan Grès”, achieving international recognition and exporting his pieces to Japan and the USA. His legacy is on display at “Le Totem” in Henrichemont, a museum dedicated to his work and its impact on contemporary ceramics.
