Modular sofa designed by Mario Bellini, originally from Italy in the 70s. Sofa in three pieces that fit together like a puzzle, one of the first editions for C&B.
"Camaleonda is a name that I invented in 1970 by mixing two words: the first is the name of an extraordinary animal, the chameleon (chameleonte in Italian), which can adapt to the environment and the word "onda", wave, the curve of the sea and the desert. Both words describe the form and function of this sofa", explains Mario Bellini.
Individual module measurements: 90cm long; 68cm high; 94cm deep. Seat height 39cm.
We like it for:
1 His sculpturality.
2 Its organic shapes and its greenish-blue upholstery.
3 Its modules allow us to play with its position.
