Located in the Sado River estuary, the landscape is virgin and wild, the intense green of the rice fields contrasts with the arid cork oak forests, the long dunes of white sand with crystal clear turquoise waters. People come to Comporta to rest and connect with nature. There is hardly any accommodation, nor great plans in sight, because everything takes place between the deserted beaches and the houses. Getting up early is a pleasure, the day is enjoyed, until the sun goes down and the mosquitoes appear, which means that only a few truly love this virgin land.
